Automation trigger based on any link clicked in any email

Just like we could set a trigger in a workflow for ‘Any Form’ Submitted on ‘Any Page’ - similarly we should be able to trigger a workflow based on ‘Any Link’ Clicked in ‘Any Marketing Email’

Use Case :

We have 2 types of emails :

  1. Transactional automated emails - Thank you for Downloading the asset - Here is your download link and so on.
    • these are fixed in number, increase rarely. ~40 in count
  2. Targetted Marketing emails - Crafted industry types, with multiple subject lines, for multiple geographies, with multiple types of links. (Links could be to non-hubspot pages, third party webinar pages, gated/ungated content, blogs, basically anything)
    • these are ever increasing, atleast (2 new emails added each weak) x (2 subject line options) x (at least 3 regions) = atleast 12 new emails added each week with atleast 1 link in each
    • have around ~200 of them right now, thats about 300 new emails in next 6 months.

Result expected : Now I want to update a custom text type field property as a result which is mapped with a custom Salesforce field. On that Salesforce field - some reports are also dependent.

Trigger Expected : Any link clicked in any marketing email sent. (and not the link clicked in any Transactional email sent)

I though about using CTAs but every email will have a different CTA, different link. Also the boundation to use a button - some of our emails have only hyperlinked text.

Thought about adding emails individually, but how many…? Till when..?

One email missed to add and the report in Salesforce goes for a toss!!

Doable for forms.. any form any page.. should be doable for emails also..

Second this! Being able to filter ‘email link clicks’ or even ‘email opens’ as a whole (any marketing emails) on top of individually would be a great addition to the filtering mechanisms

Upvoting this as well, as we have the ability to achieve this with form submissions in list filters and workflow enrollment triggers but not for marketing emails~

Absolutely second this one! I want to use how many times someone has clicked on a marketing email as part of their HubSpot score. Right now, you can measure the number of marketing emails they have clicked, but not number of clicks to an email.

Use case: client sends a newsletter with multiple items. The more items clicked, the more engaged the contact.

Upvoting :+1:: for data cleaning --> received “any marketing email” and “hard bounced”
