Automatically create a deal when a new contact is created - free hubspot

I have built a few forms with Elementor in Wordpress and I’m using the free version of the Hubspot Wordpress plugin to track them and the new contacts.

I’d like to know if there’s any way to map the forms to the deal stages and create a new deal in the right pot (deal stage), once a new contact is created.

For example, having 2 deal stages (Contact forms, Demo requests) which are associated with the Contact Form & Demo Form (forms created with Elementor). When a new user submits the ‘Contact form’, I expect to automatically be created a new deal for that contact under the ‘Contact forms’ deal stage.
Is this possible on the free plan?

If I upgrade to pro would that work with Elementor forms (non-hubspot forms)?

Thank you for reaching out.

With a non-hubspot form, the only solution would be to create the deal manually or via a workflow, but for that you need a Sales Pro subscription at least.

However I want to share with you this idea to use deal properties in HubSpot forms, that is in planning. It could be a workaround, but you’d have to use HubSpot Forms.

Thanks for the answer, it is very helpful.

We’re looking for an implementation thst uses the free plan of hubspot, but I’m just wondering if we’d go for the sales pro plan, is there a way to link the non-hubspot (Elementor) form to a Deals stage? I’m asking as I’m not very clear looking in the docs.

Also, your suggestion which is currently in planning seems to be interesting. Do you have any idea when it could be live?

For the idea I’d recommend upvoting and posting a comment in the thread; you can tag my colleague Joe so he can see - he’ll have more info on this and that way the information would be seen by other members of the thread :slightly_smiling_face:
As for your other question, are you asking if a non-Hubspot form could create a deal in a specific stage? We have a non-HubSpot forms tool, and with a workflow you will be able to choose which stage the deal would be in.
