Automate Workflow From Playbook Submission

I think Conditional logic is needed. Based on responses to a particular question, we want to gather more information or skip to a different section entirely. ex: if yes, ask second question for more info. Conditional logic is currently available in properties and forms - why not in playbooks?

Hi everyone,

thank you all for your feedback! The team has heard you, and this feature is now available to use.

Can we make the AND to happen please? Currently only logic is ‘is any of’, but not ‘is all of’ operator, meaning the trigger can only be set up as any of them, not all of them. It is a crucial step for automation and playbook deployment, thanks

I recieved an email not too long ago stating that you are now able to add the ability to trigger a workflow from a playbook submission.

Here’s what the email entailed:

this would be very very helpfull! the playbooks should be structured like the other datasets in Hubspot.

Yes. I have struggled with this on multiple occassions. The current, generic solution is to save all responses to mapped properties, which can then be added to the body of an email notification via a workflow; however, when we are doing check in calls and capturing information ad hoc notes - it would create property “chaos” for us to spin up properties just for capturing every iterative playbook submission question. A simple internal (or external) email notification with a plain text copy of the entire playbook submission would suffice (sure, customization/mapping would be better).

I am investigating a work around using the contents of the most recently logged call or meeting notes, or note itself, but that does have some potential for getting triggered and sending the incorrect information if there is a delay between the playbook submission and when the call actually happened.

Would love to see something simple, like:

Trigger > Playbook Submitted
Send Internal Email Notification > Add Users, Subject, etc.
Body > Insert > Most Recent Playbook Submission
