Currently, when using rolling availability in HubSpot Scheduling (e.g., 14 calendar days, business days, or weeks), the system displays the set number of days from the current date forward, regardless of whether some of those days are fully booked. This means users may see little to no actual availability if upcoming days are already filled.
Proposed Enhancement:
HubSpot should dynamically exclude fully booked days from the rolling window and extend the availability period accordingly. For example, if a user sets 14 rolling calendar days and 3 of those days are already fully booked, the system should show availability for the next 14 days with open time slots, not simply the next 14 dates.
Benefits:
- Provides a better user experience for clients booking time, ensuring they always see the intended amount of open availability.
- Reduces frustration caused by seemingly available booking windows that are actually full.
- Aligns with the expected behavior of rolling availability by prioritizing open slots rather than fixed calendar dates.
Use Case Example:
A sales team sets their calendar to show 10 rolling business days for calls. If 5 of those days are fully booked, prospects may only see 5 available days instead of the full 10. Extending the range until 10 open business days are visible ensures consistent booking options and maximizes conversion.
