It would be incredibly valuable to have HubSpot automatically generate Stage Calculated properties—Date entered [stage ID], Date exited [stage ID], Latest time in [stage ID], and Cumulative time in [stage ID]—for ALL standard and custom object pipelines, not just Deals, Leads, and Tickets.
For instance, the Service object is an excellent tool for SaaS companies to track implementation or activation milestones. However, while a “Service Stage Properties” group is created by default upon activation, users must manually create the stage calculated properties, which is time-consuming and inconsistent with the functionality already provided for other objects. Since this capability exists for Deals, Leads, and Tickets, extending it to all pipelines (e.g., Service, custom objects) would streamline setup, improve reporting consistency, and enhance automation workflows across the platform.
Why not make this a universal feature for all object pipelines?
This should absolutely be avaiable on any object with a pipeline functionality. Almost all of our Enterprise clients that use custom object pipelines want stage reporting metrics like this and we have to manually set up workflows and properties to try and record it.
Please consider adding this existing funcitonality!

Thank you all for taking the time to submit, upvote, and comment on this Idea. I’m happy to report that this Idea is now In Development! This means that our engineers are actively building this feature so that Custom Objects have stage calculated properties too.
The product development process is always filled with unexpected bumps and hurdles, so I can’t give a timeline, but I am confident in saying we’ll deliver this feature as soon as possible.

Custom objects now have stage calculated properties that automatically track how records move through pipeline stages.
Six new properties are now available for custom objects:
Date entered {stage id}
Date exited {stage id}
Latest time in {stage id}
Cumulative time in {stage id}
Time in current stage
Date entered current stage
Why does it matter?
With this update, you can now:
Gain deeper insights into how long custom objects spend in each stage
Identify bottlenecks in your custom object processes and pipelines
Automate actions based on time spent in a stage
How does it work?
The properties update automatically as records move through pipeline stages. You can use them in:
Reports: Create reports to analyze stage progression
Views: Filter and sort records based on stage time
Workflows: Trigger automated actions based on stage duration
To access these properties:
Navigate to Settings > Properties > Custom Object
Search for the property name
Add these properties to your desired reports, views, or workflows
Note: These properties are already available for other object types like Deals, Tickets, and Projects.
Who gets it?
This feature is available for Content Hub Enterprise, Marketing Hub Enterprise, Data Hub Enterprise, Sales Hub Enterprise, Smart CRM Enterprise, and Service Hub Enterprise.
