In the inbox setting - automation, we can turn on the 'treat new ticket ’ toggle so hubspot auto creates a ticket.

If we have a dedicated sales email channel added in hubspot, can we change auto-create ticket to auto-create deals when a new conversation comes in.

Hi @tlin,

This is currently not supported. You can find all ways to create deals listed here: [Create deals](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/deals/create-deals)

With a Professional or Enterprise subscription, you could use [workflows](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/get-started-with-workflows) to build your own automation to create deals. I’d approach this by enrolling contacts created from conversations into a contact-based workflow ([_Original source drill-down 1_ is CONVERSATIONS](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/what-do-the-properties-original-source-data-1-and-2-mean)), followed by a step that creates a deal.

If you feel strongly about this being a native feature, you could suggest it in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community. The product team reviews these suggestions based on popularity: [https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot\_Ideas](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas)

Best regards!

I’d totally agree with this. Having the ability to auto create Deals instead of Tickets would be a massive help. Currently, we have to auto create a Ticket (so that it stores the initial email information that comes in), then use a workflow to then copy all the Ticket info over to a Deal. I’d love to see this feature and I know a lot of others would too.

Hi @tlin and @karstenkoehler

I have a potential workaround for this here [https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Tips-Tricks-Best-Practices/How-to-automatically-create-a-Deal-via-Conversations-Inbox-email/td-p/710770](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Tips-Tricks-Best-Practices/How-to-automatically-create-a-Deal-via-Conversations-Inbox-email/td-p/710770)

Thanks for sharing, [@Simon\_C](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/97336)! Very nice option for the workflow-based route.
