You are able to auto associate activities to contacts, companies, deals and more but not LEADS.
It is very time consuming for users to create activities for leads in the leads dashboard, company or contact and then have to open the activity associations and mannually associate the activity with the lead.
This manual handling results in mistakes and missing activities when someone is viewing the lead and it’s progress. It also takes longer to find activities when they are not associated to the correct places.
If auto association is available for other objects, it should be available for leads as well!

Hi everyone - I’m happy to report that this update is now delivered! Please make sure to set your desired settings from Settings > Objects > Activities > Associations for the Lead object as some of the default logging behaviors are set to log to none.
