Hi all,

I’m trying to build an app that syncronizes the hubspot contacts with contacts from another web app(lexoffice), and I can’t figure out where I should create the auth process for that other app. Should it be in in the installation process or after the app is installed? And how exactly to I achive that?

Also, the third party app only requiers API Key authentification.

Thank you!

Hi, @AndreiAvram 👋 Thanks for reaching out. Can you provide any additional details? The community may not be able to give you all of what you are looking for. And I do believe they can help discuss options and what may, or may not, be possible. Are you using the [CRM Extensions API](https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/crm-extensions/crm-extensions-overview) in your project?

Hey, @lynton @himanshurauthan @nikodev, do you have any thoughts on how @AndreiAvram can think about tackling this project?

Thank you very much! — Jaycee

Hi Jaycee,

Thank you for the quick reply. What we are trying to achieve is something similar to the “Google Contact” app, that syncs Google contacts with Hubspot contacts. But instead of google, we have “Lexoffice”. To fetch contact data from this API only a bearer key is required.

Hello [@Jaycee\_Lewis](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/127074) and @AndreiAvram,

As far as I understood the query, I would suggest that you must authorize your other app just after the app installation process is complete.

To achieve this first, you need to check if your app is installed or not and whether Hubspot is authorized or not.

If the aforementioned conditions are fulfilled, you can proceed with auth process of your other app.

Regards,
