I have this idea to use Clickup as the entry point for field marketers to make all campaign requests and Make then triggers (based on the task creation) to make assets for campaign (email, landingpage, etc.) in Hubspot. A request comes in via a form in ClickUp and that form then creates tasks and subtasks in clickup and those then create 1) campaign 2) Folder 3) email and 4) Landing page. Has anyone done this (or parts of this) before? I am setting this up now with just starting (baby step) creating a campaign in Hubspot (have not moved on to other steps). I have been testing this for a day or so and tweaking connection & fixing errors (Oauth error, scope erros, etc.) and one-by-one, I am fixing these. My question is, overall is this doable? In a perfect world (ha ha), I want the field marketers to JUST use ClickUp and from there assets are made in Hubspot and then MOPs can go in and finish everything inside of HS.
Hi, @tmf123
Welcome to our community! That sounds like an interesting project. Please keep us updated on your progress as work through all the steps.
Hey @RSchweighart @LMeert @GiantFocal, do you have any no-code/low-code experience you can share with @tmf123? Thoughts on other ways they might accomplish their goal?
Thank you very much for taking a look! — Jaycee
Hi @tmf123, that does sound like exciting things are on the horizon. I haven’t used ClickUp in a long while, but I think what you are describing is doable. I’m still unclear on what you want to have happen in HubSpot. ClickUp has some native integrations into HubSpot you may consider leveraging.
ClickUp is very snazzy and has a lot of potential use cases. I understand the desire for simplicity of field marketers only being in ClickUp. That said, it may be worth considering having them be able to add the same information they would in ClickUp directly from the HubSpot mobile app. It can get difficult to maintain multiple systems; however, if you need subtask functionality, that would not be available in HubSpot.
I welcome any other specific questions you’d want to provide regarding the ClickUp & HubSpot integration.
Thanks for the tag, @Jaycee_Lewis

Hi @tmf123,
We use ClickUp internally, and this should be doable.
ClickUp’s automation can create tasks and subtasks from a pre-built template based on a form submission.
For automating HubSpot, you can first try tools like Zapier or Make.
And thank you for tagging @Jaycee_Lewis.
Yes, it’s doable. Make can definitely trigger campaign and asset creation in HubSpot from ClickUp tasks. The challenge is that once you get past simple asset creation, the API calls and field mappings get messy. Some people pair Make with a data integration tool like Skyvia: Make handles the triggers and workflow logic, while Skyvia manages the structured data sync (contacts, campaign associations, etc.). That way you don’t have to build all the heavy lifting inside of Make alone.
