I am tring to attach an email to an exiting deal
(I have a contact associated) but sometimes i dont get the deal list to chose from. also in other case if there is a deal associated and i want to replace it , i can not take off the current deal

I understand that you’d like to associate an email to a deal record.
To make sure I understand what’s happening, I’d like to ask clarifying questions, please:
1. Are these individual emails or marketing emails?
2. How are you sending the emails? Via HubSpot? Or via your personal inbox with the HubSpot Sales Extension?
3. Are you trying to associate the email when sending it of after it has been sent?
4. When you cannot remove the deal association, is there an error message? If yes, which one is it?
5. When you don’t see a deal on the list of current deal for associations, what is the status of that deal?
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
Usually, when sending the email, you should have the option to associate it with an open deal.
Also, once it is sent, you can go on the email in HubSpot, and at the bottom of the email, you should be able to edit the associations (uncheck deals or check some others).

my answers are inline
1. Are these individual emails or marketing emails? Individul emails
2. How are you sending the emails? Via HubSpot? Or via your personal inbox with the HubSpot Sales Extension? outlook with the Hubspot extention
3. Are you trying to associate the email when sending it of after it has been sent? when sedning it ( it might be working if i attached it after sending)
4. When you cannot remove the deal association, is there an error message? If yes, which one is it? not getting any message, there is no option to remove it at all
5. When you don’t see a deal on the list of current deal for associations, what is the status of that deal? all the deals i have are active

Could you please share a screenshot (without sensitive data on it) of the email when you are trying to associate it with a deal?
1. Have you tried to search for the deal’s name?
2. You can confirm that the contact you are emailing is the same contact that is associated with the deal you are trying to add on the email?
