Can you create a feature that allows for companies to be associated outside of a Parent/Child relationship?
For example, we often interface with suppliers, freight companies, etc. who work with our customers. These do not fit the parent/child criteria, however, it would be extremely helpful to see these associations on a given record.
Agreed, we have both situations in our company and prefer to be as clear as possible to our users without having to read notes. It’s possible that anyone in our company would access a record so we need it to be straight forward.
There are more usecases for a flexible waay to define relationships among comanies:
- tracking memberships in associations. Associations can very well be represented by the company object.
- sister companies
- joint ventures - they have multiple parent companies, but HubSpot only allows one
