Currently, custom events are associated with one object. That means if, for example, you associate a custom event with the contact object, you won’t see the event completion on the activity timeline of the associated company of that contact. It would be great if custom events could be automatically associated with more than one object or at least made visible on the other associated objects. Manual association would be a bonus.
This would be useful to our company. We sell subscription services, and it would be useful for us to have a Custom Event representing a “Renewal attempt” that we associate to both the Contact and the Service(s) relevant to that renewal attempt.
