Associate companies with each other / associate contacts with each other

Hi there,

It would be great if it was possible to associate company records with company records. This is especially relevant in indirect sales, when partners and agencies are involved.

As an example, a customer (company record) could be associated with a partner (company record). This would help visualize the relationship between these two companies.

At this very moment, the only solution for this would be custom objects – not available in the Starter subscription, unfortunately, only in Enterprise.

As far as easy (albeit insufficient) workarounds go, one can pin notes to the top of any record and include links to its related records.

We also need to refer to the indirect partner of a prospect. Is it possible to create a company dropdown property within a company object?

Something similar to Hubspot Users could help us a lot.
