# Assign Tasks to Multiple Users

Hey there,

I’ve run into a problem where I’m trying to assign multiple team members to a task at a certain date. For some reason, I am only allowed to assign one individual. Is there any way I can add multiple?

Hey @CKing50 not at the moment no, each object record can only have a single owner. However, if you’re on professional or enterprise you can assign an object to a [team of users](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/create-and-manage-teams).

In the tasks section when I press “assign to” the drop-down list only contains individual emails and not any of the teams I made. Any idea on what to do about this?

Oh, my apologies. It actually looks like tasks can’t be assigned to a team, only individual users. I assumed they worked the same as other records.
