We receive leads via a form submission on our website. When our Sales team responds, the first email they use to reach out is from a Sequence. Which enrolls the lead in that sequence. They do it using the Sales Extension in Gmail.
Is it a better practice to send the initial email directly from Gmail (our email is run through gmail)? My thinking is that it might reduce the possibility that a receiving server flags it as a bulk send or spam.
I know there are other factors like email content, subject, etc. I’m focused on whether sticking them into a sequence for the first email is reducing our effectiveness in reaching the person.
Hi @fireflyevents,
The likelihood that an email is considered as spam is less determined by the tool you’re using to send it more by your tracking settings.
Both the Gmail extension and emails sent from the CRM directly either track or do not track emails, based on these settings: Turn off one-to-one email tracking or attachment logging
With tracking enabled, the probability that your email is flagged as spam or potentially risky is higher. With tracking disabled, it’s lower.
Best regards!
