I am wanting to delete a few deal properties (Hubspot users) we used for agents are no longer with us, but it says we cant archive/delete the properties because they are being used. looking further into it, the property is being “used” in “views”. is there any way to delete or to get around this issue with out messing with the views of which the property is not used in.
Hi there, I’m Rachel from the HubSpot Product team! It’s now possible to delete properties that are Used In index page Views as a sort/column, without manually removing that property from each View. The goal of this update is to make it easier to clean up properties that aren’t critical your CRM data model.
- This functionality is available as part of the Improved property archive experience beta available to all tiers and hubs
- To get access to this beta, request access via Product Updates (beta update here)
- To test it out, simply Archive a property that is only used in index page views as a column/sort - you’ll be able to Archive directly in Property Settings and the property will be automatically removed from the corresponding Views
