Hello, I was wondering if this was possible. If not, what would be an alternative?
1. Person signs up to my event through a form, which adds them to an active list.
2. I get internal email about the new contact, which has approve CTA.
3. If I click the approve CTA, contact gets sent to a static list. If not, then they stay in an active list.
Would this be possible? Could I add contact property through internal email notification?
Thank you
Hi @deiviser
Yes, that’s easy:
- add a Custom Property to the Contact e.g. “approved for event”.
In your Custom Property you can have a select list “Approved” or “Declined”. - make a Smart List that captures everyone that has filled in your registration form, that has the Custom Property"approved for event" as “unknown”.
- make a second Smart List that has everyone that has filled in your registration form, that has the Custom Property"approved for event" as “approved”. This will be your invitation list.
When you get the notification you can set the property “Approved” or “Declined” and your lists will automagically update.
I would think about the Property name so it’s reusable – do you run multiple events? or is this evergreen?
Have fun
