@Jnix284 Thanks for the information! I agree, I think the comment portion is really the most valuable piece that we could use. Currently, we use Gain for approvals and comments and it has an automatic workflow option where once the approver signs off on it - it launches on the social media platform. Luckily, we can still report on it since HubSpot pulls in the information even when not posted within the CRM now.
An integration would also be nice, but I don’t think it would change my current workflow much unless it could show what is scheduled maybe? I know we want other teammates to know what is getting posted and when for better interaction and sharing - so actually that could also be helpful!
It is “Being Reviewed” but has seemed to have stalled and could use more community attention.
I created this idea after the first idea was prematurely marked as “Deliver” by HubSpot when they launched their "Draft only" social publishing permission to manage who can create draft social posts and publish social posts, as @Jnix284 listed in her comment. The feature delivered was definitely not an approval feature with notifications or commenting, but HubSpot considered the matter resolved… so the new Idea was opened.
Yes! We currently use Sprout Social and this feature is the best. We are switching to HubSpot for other reasons and I’m disappointed this is not a feature. For having a system that uses workflows, it would make sense to have an approval process for all areas.
We transitioned to Hubspot and stepped off Falcon for managing social, email and CRM in one platform. The lack of approval capability and tagging within Hubspot makes this much harder and is a real blocker when it comes to workflows.
We too could use this functionality. We have a stronger use-case for social media approvals than we do for some of the other approval flows already available in HubSpot.
Has anyone found a solution to this? We are coming from Sprout Social, which has customizable approval workflows and is extremely user friendly so we are needing some typer of solution for Hubspot. Anyone know if Sprout Social is able to integrate the content calendar? If we could do the whole appoval and calendar creation in Sprout, then export it and import it in to Hubspot, has anyone tried this? Or something similiar?
We would love to see this! Adding comments and a smooth approval process, tickets or tasks could even play a role in this. Would love to beta if this goes into development! Thanks!
I also would love to have this feature available. It would make the social process with clients so much easier when creating/planning and approving. Would LOVE to be a Beta for this feature.

I was using salesforce social studio which had the feature but was an entirely separate platform to pardot.
HubSpot is a far superior tool in gerenal but would love to have this additional feature. I couldn’t find any add-ons and its something my team really need.
I’m new to hub spot, so this is two years of a product review? Really? This feature is a basic need for any business with more than one person. Surprised to see this feature is still pending. I guess I might have to keep my other social posting tool for now. Too bad really wanted a all in one solution.
Have to say I agree with Dstern. The idea that so many users have to keep their other social products open while paying for Hubspot and not being able to use it is hectic. Relaly hoping this gets bumped up ASAP.
