Currently when using the Copy Property Value workflow action, you can only append data if its a checkbox field. We need the ability do this with other fields such as text fields.
I agree, I am just running in the same issue when trying to collect historic property values (from dropdown select property) in another (text) property.

1000% - We are an agency and use the a custom text property to house Partner IDs for our brands inside different PRMs, but we often run into the case where major publishers such as SoftwareAdvice will have multiple IDs; since we use it as a unique identifier, this creates duplicates that, when merged, remove the alternative IDs that we need to see.
Currently, the only solution is to review the history of the property and append the values manually (which is too time-consuming to sustain as a practice), or download our duplicate companies every week or two and append the values in a workflow, then import them back into the system and proceed to merge the duplicate records.
Neither of these solutions are what you’d expect from a professional CRM by HubSpot, and our manager is applying pressure for us to find a better alternative.
