Hi - we have a process in our system that calls HubSpot to first create a contact via the standard crm endpoint. We wait until we receive a response (success) apply some additional logic in our system, and then send a webhook back to HubSpot for updates to the new contact. This works as expected maybe 90-95% of the time - however it randomly fails on records that don’t necessarily have anything in common. We get a successful response back from the webhook endpoint with an id - but in the logs we don’t see that the contact was ever enrolled in the workflow. The time lag in the process can be 5-10 seconds. Is there any potential latency between the time a contact is created (or at least the endpoint sends back a success) and the time they might be enrolled in the workflow based on newly created email address? We’re not really sure where else to troubleshoot - so any inisght wouild be greatly appreciated!

Hi @dlapointeus ,

This definitely isn’t instantly. So when you create a contact, depending on your workflow enrollment triggers, it could take a bit before they are enrolled.
If you enroll a contact manually and refresh the enrollment history or action logs, you can see that that can take some time as well.

So yeah, between creating a contact and them enrolling in a workflow, there is definitely a delay.

I reread this, and to double-check if I understand this correctly, are you using a webhook as the enrollment trigger?
