Hi,

I try to get internal value from a API call to hubspot by using qlick sense. My code is :

[https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/paged?hapikey=XXXXXXXXX&includeAssociations=true&limit=250&properties=dealname&properties=amount&properties=pipeline&properties=dealstage&properties=createdate&properties=commercialisateur](https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/paged?hapikey=XXXXXXXXX&includeAssociations=true&limit=250&properties=dealname&properties=amount&properties=pipeline&properties=dealstage&properties=createdate&properties=commercialisateur)

I get all the default value but not the internal value from the deal.

Somebody could help me to solve the problem ?

Thanks

Hi @ctecher,

Your request looks fine to me. Would you mind sharing the response that you are getting back? The response should contain a json object containing a deals array. Inside of this array there is another object called “properties” which caontains the requested properties along with their current value. See below:

```auto
{
 "deals": [
 {
 "portalId": 2990812,
 "dealId": 277912418,
 "isDeleted": false,
 "associations": {
 "associatedVids": [],
 "associatedCompanyIds": [],
 "associatedDealIds": [],
 "associatedTicketIds": []
 },
 "properties": {
 "pipeline": {
 "value": "default", <--- VALUE STORED HERE
 "timestamp": 1523272662730,
 "source": "WORKFLOWS",
 "sourceId": "2804150",
 "versions": [
 {
 "name": "pipeline",
 "value": "default",
 "timestamp": 1523272662730,
 "sourceId": "2804150",
 "sourceVid": []
 }
 ]
 }
```

Hi @ctecher,

I am not familiar with qclick sense but I setup a free trial to test this for you and I’m not having any problem. See below using the following request:

`https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/paged?hapikey={{apikey}}&includeAssociations=true&limit=250&properties=dealname&properties=amount&properties=pipeline&properties=dealstage&properties=createdate&properties=commercialisateur`

Is there any way you can get some additional support from qlick sense on this as it might be a configuration on their side?

Regards,

Jack

I use the same sentence in the rest connection but I did not get the same result

Could give me the parameter you use in the rest connector in Qlick sense ?

I try to get some help from Qlick sense community but there is not a lot of people who use Hubspot.

Thanks a lot

Hi @ctecher,

No problem at all here are the steps I’ve followed in Qlick Sense:

1) Create an application and provide it a name.

2) Click to “Add data from files and other sources”

3) Choose the “REST” option from the list of data sources

4) In the dialog box that appears I’ve entered the following:

- URL: [https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/paged?hapikey={{apikey}](https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/paged?hapikey=%7B%7Bapikey%7D)}&includeAssociations=true&limit=250&properties=dealname&properties=amount&properties=pipeline&properties=dealstage&properties=createdate&properties=commercialisateur
- Method: GET
- Name: Get recently created deals

In my case {{apikey}} was replaced with my portals api key. Once done I click “Create” and it generates all of the data I need in the screenshot I showed originally.

Does that help at all?

Hi Jack,

I create a new REST connection with the same parameter of yours, but I do not get the same result. It is so strange.

 ![Api Hubspot _Qlicksense .PNG](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/2X/4/4be6b776134b34e4091b2ab66b8c2f4926b0178a.png)

Which data connection, and authentication you use ?

I am stuck with that problem still this morning and cannot get trought !

Thanks you for your help

Hi @ctecher,

I wonder if there is an issue with your API key and how you are including it in the request. I’ve run another test and it’s working fine. Can you please try this…

Copy and paste the URL below into the “URL” field.

`https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/paged?includeAssociations=true&limit=250&properties=dealname&properties=amount&properties=pipeline&properties=dealstage&properties=createdate&properties=commercialisateur`

 ![1.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/b/f/bf3439674ceb6d683b8b085403922cb845bbd3e9.png)

Also make sure to go to the “Additional request parameters” section and ensure it looks like the below. Of course replace “xxxx” with your HubSpot API key. Instructions on where to find that can be found here.

 ![2.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/a/c/ac42a0be4230f2e7c8ccd6c23f32c14b3c9215fc.png)

Once you’ve done all of this it should pull in the data correctly. It’s difficult to fully support you on this as QlickSense isn’t a HubSpot tool and the issue isn’t residing with the HubSpot API. However if you try the above I’m hopeful it will help.

Jack

Hi Jack,

I have installed the new version of Qlick Sense and I still have the same problem.

I have made with the paramters you gived me but the problem is still there.

Something is strange, because when I try to get the internal value with the contact and the qlick Rest Connectors, I get it. See below :

 ![Contact_internal.JPG](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/e/7/e7dd213c7ef17c58c11fdaef8b246620664e860f.jpeg)

avancement\_du\_dossier is an internal value.

So I wonder why it is working with Contact and not with deals, with the same connector.

Do I have another way to get those internal deals parameters from Hubspot ?

Thanks a lot for your reply

Best Regards

Hi @ctecher,

I’ve recorded a video of me using QlikSense and extracting deal information from HubSpot using the HTTP REST CONNECTOR option. You can view it below:

- [https://share.vidyard.com/watch/EVdv2fDHY9gXXHjNZWYGvj](https://share.vidyard.com/watch/EVdv2fDHY9gXXHjNZWYGvj)?

Again, it’s really difficult for me to troubleshoot this any further as this is a third party tool. Hopefully the video helps clear up any confusion.

Regards,

Jack

Hi Jack,

Thanks a lot, I fixed the problem.

I did not see commercialisateur in the tree because they where no value.
