# API create or update contact batch - new Error - PropertyValue missing field source

Hi,

all of a sudden can’t create a contact or update it via API, I get this Error, I have a ton of errors on my server and I don’t understand this error message, even though we haven’t changed anything on our side.

The only error message that is displayed is:

PropertyValue missing field source.

I use this api : /contacts/v1/contact/batch

I have also started seeing this error all of sudden

i am seeing the same error this afternoon as well

I only have the error on the API: POST /contacts/v1/contact/batch/  
but not on the api: POST /contacts/v1/contact/createOrUpdate/email/:contact\_email

So I made a dirty loop and changed the API while the problem was corrected by Hubspot. I have a request limiter system so it shouldn’t be a problem in the short term for me.

Thanks - yes, it seems that HubSpot have made a breaking update to this API -- has anyone had confirmation from HubSpot support that this is a high priority issue that is actively being resolved?
