Im just curious to know if anyone else has noticed receiving a daily spam submission via a form. Every day for the last few weeks, almost on the dot of 2pm we receive a spam submisson through our demo form. The domain is always a combo or the to left letters on a keyboard, and usually a real domain - examples: wert.com
The IP comes from a different location within the US and the last referring site is always the same so we have used this to automate marking them as spam/closed. The email address do not bounce.
I’d love to hear if anyone is experiencing similar. I cannot work out what these spam submissions are trying to achieve.
interesting, thank you for sharing! I’ve checked our ticket queue for spam reports from these domains and we haven’t received any in the past couple of weeks.
At this time, the only methods in place for preventing spam form submissions are enabling CAPTCHA and blocking specific email domains/free email providers. I’d recommend blocking the domains you listed above and keeping an eye on the form submissions to see if new domains will emerge.
