Data studio and data agent are the only Data Hub features that use credits.
Data studio uses credits when you sync datasets to segments, workflows or the CRM. Credit usage is based on the size of the data source (small, medium or large data source), how many syncs you set up (e.g., connecting a dataset to a workflow and a segment = 2 syncs), and the frequency of the sync.
Ex: A small data source connected to a workflow and a segment syncing daily = 25 credits (small) x 2 destinations (workflow and segment) x 30 refreshes per month = 1,500 credits/mo.
Data Agent uses credits when you fill a smart property, create a smart column in a dataset, or use smart actions in a workflow. More info on that here, but it’s basically 1 response from the Agent = 10 credits.
