For unclear reasons, the only properties that Workflows can copy are from Company --> Contact records. Would love to be able to copy Deal Properties --> Contact records, Contact Properties --> Company Properties, etc. Really stumped as to why this is so limited.
I’m not sure if it would solve all your needs @KPrigmore - but are you familiar with the new ‘Property sync’ data type when creating new properties? Here’s an article: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-sync-properties
Also, when displaying cards in the middle section of a record’s page, you can add a new card that allows you to display values from other associated records. For me, this means I’ve had less of a need to create workflows for clients. Instead I’ve used a combination of both these methods.
Having said that, I agree there could be use cases for copying from a Deal to a Contact, so support your Idea too! Let me know if either of these options helps you out, though!
Yeah the problem there is they cap how many sync properties you can use
