Allow workflows to be triggered by Link Click in SCHEDULED marketing emails.

We often have emails go out where we’d like to give our contacts the opportunity to opt out of a specific set of upcoming emails. They wouldn’t want to unsubscribe, but maybe they just don’t want to hear about XYZ topic.

Right now, we have a “click here” hyperlink in the email that takes them to a confirmation page for opting out. The trouble is we cannot set up a workflow to add them to a static list that we can exclude in the future based on someone clicking that specific link until the email has been sent.

So on the day email is scheduled to send, and after it’s actually sent, our team goes in and then finalizes the workflow to add anyone that clicked that specific link to a static list that we then exclude from future emails of that nature.
We’d like to have the ability to see and choose these links when an email is scheduled. This would allow us to have all of our set up done in advance when scheduling the email.

I’m having this exact same issue right now! I find it pretty odd that HubSpot doesn’t give you the option to choose the email/links prior to an email being sent. If you’ve found a workaround I’d love to know!
