Allow Specific Workflows To Ignore SFDC Inclusion List rules

As a marketing team, year round we utilize the Inclusion list and are rather happy with it. For example, We use HS for marketing purposes, and therefore do not sync “Customers” on a regular which works to help us keep our sync volume down.
However ever 3 months or so we host an offline event where we invite customers, prospects, partners, etc and we want to have all people pass through the sync from hubspot to salesforce.
It would be a great idea to allow the user to select specific workflows to bypass the inclusion list and sync anyway. Which would leave a lot less headaches when dealing with an error list.

Hi! If you have a use case for emailing these contacts throughout the year - it may make more sense to remove the inclusion list for all Leads & Contacts to sync from Salesforce and then add a suppression list to the Workflows where you don’t want to include them. That way, you don’t have to deal with the sync errors or adding/removing them.

This is not a bad workaround. I’m not terribly excited about doing this to 100+ workflows… However, it just might work.

@TRobbinsTX sounds like a lot of work BUT the inclusion list is a hard gate between the two systems. So, the likelihood of that ever changing is super low. So, this might be your best option :slightly_smiling_face:
