HubSpot always displays all amounts with 2 decimal places, especially in reports. When dealing with large numbers in the millions, it’s quite annoying and often confusing. Here’s an example.
Please allow us to format the report so these decimal places can be removed OR, at least allow calculation properties to have a currency output, so that I can get these numbers rounded up, with the currency format…
Right now the only options are what you see above which just looks a little silly, or using a calculated property but then not seeing the currency symbol, which really isn’t ideal.
Hello @RevOpsNinjaaaaa,
Any luck on this one? I have a client requesting currency values to be rounded to the nearest whole number (no decimals) for reports. Wondering if theres been any native progress from the HubSpot side or a reliable third party app. Thank you!
Hey @v3rnalequinox no, not not yet unfortunately. What you could do as a workaround is create a custom report instead of an object specific report and have the title mention something like “(in €)”. It’s still not available for object specific reporting, like if you just report on the deals object, but when you create a custom report and select deals as the source, which is basically the same thing, you are able to remove the decimal places. Of course the issue here is the currency doesn’t display, but this still works better for us for now.
Hope a fix is released soon!
Does anyone from the HubSpot product team have an update on this?
+1 for this.
Not just for decimals, but to be able to format numbers either automatically or manually in the format that makes the most sense with as many decimal points as you want.
E.g choose whether to display:
- £990,000
- £990k
- £1m
- £0.99m
