Allow hidden dropdown / radio / checkbox property options

Allow ability to hide certain values in enumeration type properties (dropdowns, radios, multiple checkboxes).

Who (what type of role or team) is the feature for?

Everyone, but admins and people in charge of data quality especially.

Goal

Prevent users from selecting deactivated options, but still maintain option in list so how many records with the value can easily be seen.

Useful for

1) Options we no longer want selectable but don’t have another value we want to merge it into

2) Hidden property options that can only be populated via API / workflows

Value

Data quality. Better UX (less options to select from, less options for users to remember not to select)

Better consistency in HubSpot (why are we allowed to hide property options in forms for customers but we can’t hide them in our own UI?)

Examples

HubSpot’s own forms tool (Hide property option)

YES! Historical data is important to maintain, but there are many cases where an enumerated option should not be available going forward.

This needs to exist yesterday. Please implement asap.

Agree, we want to keep history of a check box use against tickets but hide it if we decide it isn’t applicable for a time but might reinstate it in future. We have to store the data somewhere else if we want to look at historical uses of a check box.
