Similar to this request but specific to non-legacy quoting tool.

We have an option for a contract buy out which is a variable dollar amount based on their current contract. In order to properly manage recurring subscriptions (as to not have a discount carry over) we need to be able to apply a one time negative line item on a quote as a separate SKU for our ERP system.

Desired End State:

  1. Add a ‘negative SKU’ option that factors into the total amount

+1 from my team. We’ve got a client with an ERP who would also benefit from allowing line item unit price/cost to be negative

@JoeBurchard our workaround was to not have the item in the product library, but whenever it gets pushed onto a deal via the ERP integration, set the “discount” property to whatever the amount is, and the unit price to 0. It’s worked ok for us so far, but a little unintuitive.
