Currently the API supports reading and writing custom defined events only. I propose allowing the hubspot provided events to be writable (so that one can create a rendered event on the timeline to log events) and keeping track of the creator as an additional property to denote the event authority.
This would preserve the compliance/authenticity aspect of events being hubspot provided but allow logged events via the UI and expand the functionality of custom integrations to customers.
