Idea:
This idea is for HubSpot users who manage activities directly within CRM records and need to collaborate or update associations efficiently.
Currently, users need to expand an activity before they can add a comment or associate it with another record. This is especially inconvenient for meetings or notes with long content, where expanding the activity takes up additional space and requires extra steps.
Suggested improvement:
Allow users to add comments and associate activities with other records directly from the activity preview, without requiring them to expand the activity first.
Example:
A user is reviewing several meeting activities on a company record. They want to @mention a colleague in a comment and associate one of the meetings with a related contact or deal. Instead of opening each activity, they should be able to perform both actions directly from the collapsed activity preview.
This would make activity management faster and more convenient, reduce unnecessary clicks and improve collaboration when reviewing records with many activities.
