All companies number is different?!?

Hi again
I am super admin, and I am looking at the tab “All companies”. There is no filter on. I have 955 posts.

My colleague only has like 185 companies. She has no filter on either. I am trying to look a company up in her list, but it does not exist in my “all companies list”. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hi @Thomas_Oreskov,

First off, it sounds like your colleague does not have permissions to view all companies. This would have to be adjusted in her permissions if you want her to see all companies: Manage user permissions

How exactly are you doing this? Could you please describe it step by step? If you’re assuming a permissions issue, just let your colleague share a link to a company record with you and try to open it. If you’re a super admin, that will work.

Best regards

When I search for my colleagues company, I did it like this:
1) Click CRM - Companies

2) Click the tab “all companies”
3) Click in the “search” field (above company name)

4) Enter the first four letters of the company in my colleagues list
5) No results in the search list

@Thomas_Oreskov can you please try copying and pasting the exact name? What about sharing the link of the company record from the browser address bar?

Hi Karsten
Brilliant solution with sharing the company record from the browser :slightly_smiling_face:
Trying to send the missing company from her computer I noticed that she had 2 versions of HubSpot. When trying to use the link with the missing company on my computer, it wanted my to log in on other hubSpot on my computer. Clearly that was the problem.
Now I need her one profil deleted, but have to be sure which one to save. How do I make sure of that? It is the version on my computer that should be used.

@Thomas_Oreskov glad I can be of help. If my previous answers helped answer your question, please mark them as accepted solutions :slightly_smiling_face:

As far as your other question goes, you can check both in the address bar or in the top right corner what the name of the HubSpot portal is: Manage multiple HubSpot accounts

That’s how you/she can check if you’re looking at the right account or whether you’re in the one that can be deleted.

Thank you very much for your help, Karsten.
I am sure others would have semilar problems. I was surprised that someone would log in to HubSpot with 2 different accounts. Well… lession learned if I see that problem again.

Thank you for the fast reply, Karsten
I am trying to share a link to a company record, but I cant get it to work. According to the guide:

there shuld be a “shared” button.

@Thomas_Oreskov sharing records is an Enterprise feature. Are you on an Enterprise subscription?

Keep in mind that what you linked is a feature to bypass the regular record access permissions.

If you want to simply share the link of a record with a colleague, simply copy it from the address bar.
