Hi,
I work for a flooring company. The main issue is that our products last a long-time (10+ years) - so the person that made the original decision to purchase our products, normally no longer work at the customer(company).
So we get a brand new enquiry from a new person from our existing customer (company). Is there a way to get alerted that a new enquiry is from an existing customer (company)?
Best Regards
Nick
Hi @Netology,
Where do you store the information that a company has already purchased your products? Are you using HubSpot’s deals to keep track of this?
You could set up custom notifications including this kind of information (whether a recent form submission is associated with a company that has already purchased from you). This automation requires HubSpot workflows (included in Professional or Enterprise subscriptions). What this workflow would look like depends on your setup/process.
Without workflows, the easiest way to get this information is to simply access the contact record, click the associated company link in the right sidebar and check if there are any deals associated with this company. (Or, if you’re using the company property Lifecycle stage, you could access this information even faster. You could include the Lifecycle stage in the company record sidebar – it would then also show up in the company preview that you can access by hovering over the company widget in the right sidebar of the contact record.)
Hope this helps!
Hi Karsten,
Thanks very much for answering my question.
This will be a Brand new setup using Sales Professional. The Company records need to be imported into the CRM and I supposed Past deals/sales need to be detailed - I like the workflow idea.
