AI Image Challenge: Not a Game of Thrones

This week’s AI Challenge has been extremely difficult for me. I decided to attempt something “simple”: Creating a replica of the Throne Room from Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. Needless to say I’m not happy with the results. The prompt and some of the “best” results are in the comments. What am I doing wrong? Was I too ambitious? What recommendations do you have? Anyway, here’s an image of Robocop and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting crime that I made for you. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

This is the original image. First I asked Gemini to give me a detailed description of the Throne Room so I got an Idea of the words I needed for my prompt. I used Gemini because it has internet connection. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

After that I wrote this prompt: The Singers’ Hall of Neuschwanstein Castle, Bavaria, Germany. A grand hall in the Late Romanesque style with strong Moorish influences. The hall is bathed in the warm glow of a massive, ornate chandelier hanging from the center of the domed ceiling. The ceiling is a marvel of colored glass and intricate woodwork. The walls are adorned with vibrant murals depicting scenes from Wagner’s opera Tannhäuser. Elaborate filigree woodwork adorns the balcony and minstrels’ gallery that wraps around the second floor of the hall. The hall is approximately 16 meters (52 ft) long, 9 meters (30 ft) wide, and 12 meters (39 ft) high. Aspect ratio: 16:9 --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

These is the result I got with Leonardo.ai: Nothing too detailed, seems like the early AI images --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

And this is the result I got from Dall-E (Copilot version) It is a little bit better but still seems weird, maybe it was the excess of details? --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

Again, all about the prompt and the Image generator used.. So I did a little experiment Victor Becerra starting with your same prompt (give me a detailed description of the Throne Room from Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany.) but instead of using Gemini I used Groq, then I asked Groq (Llama2-70b-4096) to transform the description into a prompt for Leonardo, I got a totally different image but also different prompts. See prompt below --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.

The prompt may have been a bit long :joy:: “Create a photorealistic image of the Throne Room in Neuschwanstein Castle, located in Hohenschwangau, Germany. The room should be depicted in a majestic and opulent style, with a high ceiling adorned with intricate wood carvings and gold-colored decorations. The walls should be painted in a rich, dark red color, and the floor should be made of polished wood. The throne itself should be the centerpiece of the room, placed on a raised platform at the far end of the room. The throne should be made of carved wood, gilded with gold leaf, and feature intricate carvings of mythical creatures and foliage. The throne should be flanked by two smaller chairs, also decorated with gold leaf and upholstered in rich fabrics. The room should be illuminated by several large chandeliers, suspended from the ceiling, made of bronze and featuring intricate, intertwining patterns. The lighting in the room should be dim, creating a sense of intimacy and grandeur. The room should be furnished with several pieces of ornate furniture, including a large, carved wood credenza, adorned with gilded decorations, and a pair of matching cabinets, inlaid with precious stones and metals. The room should also feature several smaller chairs and stools, upholstered in rich fabrics and adorned with intricate carvings. The walls of the Throne Room should be adorned with several paintings and sculptures, including a large portrait of King Ludwig II, depicted in a formal, regal pose. Other paintings should depict scenes from Germanic mythology and legend, such as the tale of Lohengrin, which was a favorite of the king’s. Finally, the room should be adorned with several tapestries, woven with gold and silver threads, depicting scenes from medieval legends and myths. The tapestries should add a touch of warmth and color to the room, and help to create a sense of coziness in the otherwise grand and formal space. The image should be rendered in a photorealistic style, with attention to detail and accuracy in the depiction of the room’s architecture, furniture, and decorative elements. The image should be rendered in a format suitable for printing on a large canvas, with a ratio of 3:4 (horizontal to vertical).” Please provide the actual dimensions of the canvas you want the image to be printed on, so that I can adjust the proportions of the image accordingly. Also, please provide me with the actual colors and materials that you want me to use for the throne, furniture, and decorations, so that I can match them as closely as possible in the image. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
