Adjustable panel width on Outlook sales / HubSpot Sales

Hi everyone,

In addition to a log-in prompt, another great feature for the App/Addon would be to be able to adjust the panel to any size.

With the Old Outlook it was possible to enlarge it, but not make it smaller, let’s say only a few pixels wide.

In New Outlook, it is not possible to adjust at all and on a 15.6" laptop it takes a considerable amount on screen space.

This is limited by Microsoft, but I would like to ask the HubSpot team to suggest it to them and work out how to make it possible.

Would you also like to be able to scale the addon however you liked?

Totally hear you! Fixed panels eat up way too much space on smaller screens. Just to check, are you using the classic desktop Outlook or the New Outlook (WebView-based version)?

Quickest workaround: if you’re still on the classic version, try switching back (File → Options → toggle “Try the new Outlook” off). I did that on my Surface just to get panel resizing back, since the New Outlook version locks that sidebar width.

Would be great if HubSpot could nudge Microsoft on this. In the meantime, I’d upvote any Ideas thread you find (or post one if it doesn’t exist yet) makes it easier for the product teams to push the case.
