Since we also have clients scheduling posts directly, we can’t monitor Total Campaign Impact which means the Campaign function in HubSpot is of limited use without the ability to add an already posted Post to a campaign. Limited use means we start looking at other platforms.

The Social and Campaigns product teams at HubSpot have reviewed this feature request over the last months and had started to build this functionality. Unfortunately, during this process we came across technical challenges that we aim to address first. As a consequence, the status of this request is now: ‘blocked/ on hold’.
We are aware this feature is providing a lot of value and will ensure to keep you informed once a new beta date is available.

I just want to strongly support this. I see there has been some roadblocks but I think it’s really critical that we have this 360 view of campaign content including social posted natively on the platforms. There is so much functionality, particularly on meta (edited reels, higher bitrate, etc.) that is not available via the API on HubSpot so for lots of our content we have no choice but to post it on instagram directly. Now we are choosing between high quality content, and campaign tracking, which is highly unfortunate.

Even if we can’t tag the external posts to a campaign we’d love to at least see them in the Campaign Calendar view so we can see all the campaign & social activity in one place. Any tips or updates would be huegely appreciated. Thanks!
Are there any updates to this beta being released? We really need to be able to link social posts to campaigns when they are posted externally.
@JennyMueller This ticket is becoming a major issue for us as well, considering the native posting tool on HubSpot is still very limited in what it can do in comparison to the native tools on platforms like LinkedIn. As others have stated as well, we also had many posts submitted to socials before we knew of this major HubSpot limitation, and therefore are missing large pieces to our Marketing Campaign puzzle.
