# Adding Priority Colors

Is there a way to add Priority colors? I have Low, Medium and High, but would like to add a couple more categories. Right now, we classify projects based on amount of that project, however a $900 project and $100 are not the same. Neither is a $9,000 project vs. a $1,000 project.

Just some thoughts. I hope I posted this to the right group.

Hey @JWronski, thanks for reaching out! This is an awesome question.

I’m assuming that you’re talking about adding priority colors to **deals**. If that’s the case, you’re in luck! HubSpot just rolled out color and tagging options to deals and tickets ([more info in this Knowledge Base article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/prioritize-records-in-views-with-colored-object-tags)).

If you follow the steps in that article, you’ll be able to set up colored tags based on rules that you set. It sounds like you could create those rules based on the deal **amount** property to assign different colors/priorities to deals based on the amount. You could take it a step further and create rules that would emphasize high amount/priority deals that haven’t been contacted recently/have no assigned next activity/have been in the same stage for too long.
