# Adding Overarching Filters on Dynamic Lists

We should be able to add a filter that applies an AND condition to all groups that will include a contact or company into a list. The same logic applies to workflows - it would be super helpful to be able to select all groups at once, and apply an AND logic, so it’s technically ‘the first’ step to get something to then test the next criteria - defined by the groups.

Happy to answer more questions about what this means and the implications, but I know it would save me a lot of time when it comes to workflows and list criteria.

It is so frustrating to try and build lists and workflows but not have the ability to write, what should be, basic logic. There is no way to bracket and use AND/OR logic. For example (a AND b AND c) OR d.
