Adding Lists to Subscription

What we did:

We have sent out a form that people/companys have registered for to get email updates on trainings we host. But that just added them to a list.

What we want:

We need to have that list of people who have registered, be added to a subscription that will recieve the same stuff so they can unsubscribe from these emails but not everything we send out.

How could I go about this legaly and effectivly. Or are we out of luck and need to do another approach. (Everyone who registered knows what they signed up for but we just want it as a subscription instead a list of people/companys).
