Hello! I am the Marketing Director for SolBe Learning, and am eager to see a feature within Social Tools to add a collaborator when posting to Instagram from within Hubspot. Currently, I don’t see that functionality, and unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t allow you to add collaborators after a post is published. If I could do that from within Hubspot prior to publishing a post, that would be great! ---

Bumping this. Collabs have been around for over a year, and HubSpot has multiple blog posts out on that feature, also from over a year ago. It’s still not possible to create collab posts from within HubSpot’s social media tools. At the same time, it is not possible to add social content not created through HubSpot to the campaigns tool. Effectively this means that it’s impossible to get a complete analytics picture of a campaign that has both regular and collab posts. This then defeats the point of using HubSpot’s social media tooling.. ---

This would be definitely a feature needed to manage Social Media posts to reflect the reality of the day. With the current functionalities, this drives us to look the solution elsewhere. Is there any news on this, that when possible update to the Social tool would be coming? ---

I just switched to another social media tool. Managing collaboration separately made the entire workflow too cumbersome. We have everything else in Hubspot, so if they ever get around to adding that feature, I’ll switch back. ---

Yes, please add collaborations as this feature is widely used on Instagram. Our social media team is still having to natively post because of this feature not being available. Thanks! ---

Echoing that this would be an ideal feature! I work with a membership-based organization, and our platform relies a lot on “collaborating” with members to boost our respective accounts. I have to operate outside of HubSpot for much of Instagram right now with the feature not available. ---

Hey team, any news on the social media collaboration tool for HubSpot? I work with a client that has franchisees and they are trying to find a way to approve content for their franchisee to post. Any ideas here? ---

Collaboration posts, particularly on platforms like Instagram, are a powerful tool for brands and influencers to boost their reach and connect with diverse audiences. Implementing this feature would be a game-changer, and I’d love to see it rolled out soon. Posting natively is inconvenient for teams, and whichever provider introduces this first is likely to see social media managers flock to their platform! ---

Hi, We didn’t build that functionality yet, but here’s a quick rundown of what our HubSpot \<\> Instagram integration can do: 1. Automated DM Logging: Every Instagram DM gets automatically logged in HubSpot contact records—just like native SMS integrations. Each DM shows up as an activity (note) with the message text and date, keeping your contact history complete. 2. Tracking & Reporting: Track DM interactions. Our integration stores key data—number of DMs and interaction dates—in custom properties, making reporting and analysis easy. 3. Contact Matching Without Email: We match DMs using the Instagram handle or HubSpot Record ID. If there’s no match, we create a new contact, and once an email comes through, you can merge the records. 4. Custom Cards in HubSpot: Get a view of DM activity right inside HubSpot with a custom card in the contact record sidebar.
