Hubspot’s CMS currently offers support for customizing the 404 and 500 error pages, but does not support customizing the 403 error page. Because much of our content is controlled via permissions, users hitting a 403 error is much more likely than a 404 or 500 error.
The default 403 error page from Hubspot does not look nearly as polished as our other system page templates and leads to a diminished brand experience for our users.
I did find out you can customize the Access Denied page, but it’s located in another area of the Hubspot UI, which wasn’t intuitive. The Hubspot support rep I first spoke with didn’t know about that feature, but another person I spoke with pointed me to the right spot.
My recommendation would be to consolidate where the System Error pages are configured to one central place to avoid further confusion or add more direction on each page for where the other error pages can be found.
