# add task from conversations inbox

ability to add a task directly to the contact (or company) from the conversations inbox.

who: service team, conversations inbox users

what: quickly add tasks to follow up based on conversation

value: save time, remove extra steps

I like that clicking the contact name automatically opens them in a new window, but if I need to assign a task to another team member or myself, it would be helpful to do this without leaving the inbox.

I could see this applied to contact, company, ticket or deal…depending on how people have things setup in their account.

maybe it is a single button with the choice of where to associate.

Hi ! I definetly agree.  
In order to organize the team in a better way, there should be a possibility apart from notes to add a task for the support agent. I think it would be great to make a separate Task tab which is only related to serviceHub (means have no relationship to Sales tasks ).
