Is there a way to group certain fields (in settings) so that you can see why fields are used for what purpose?
We would have 10 fields for quality data collecting purposes, and 10 for service, etc.

Yes, under Settings > Properties, you should see a “Groups” tab. You can create new groups and edit existing ones.
Back in the “Properties” tab, you can move properties to groups, or, when you create new ones, assign a group directly.
Most tools will respect this grouping and show properties in that order.
