Amid the product update sunsetting the any-stage funnel report, the “cumulative conversion” column next to each contact/deal stage has been removed in the new funnel reporting builder. Although the “next step conversion” column is useful to see stage-by-stage conversion, having the cumulative conversion gives a more holistic picture of a company’s pipeline.
As such, I’d like to propose two edits to the new funnel reporting buidler:
1. Re-add a stage-by-stage cumulative conversion column to the new funnel reporting builder, placing it directly to the right of the next step conversion column, as it was in what will become the legacy any-stage funnel report. This is a simple calculation (count of contacts/deals in one stage divided by the full pipeline count), so this shouldn’t be so difficult of an addition to the new builder.
2. Update the stage-by-stage row lengths to dynamically update based on the stage name lengths. In the second screenshot below (showing the new builder), the row lengths are too long and make it ever so slightly longer to read the graph. Plus, if feature request 1 is implemented, there won’t be enough room for that column (how it was in the old builder was sufficient in terms of the room each component got).
