100% agree, I came across this thread precisely because we needed to verify exactly what the form was the Contact submitted, and the Hubspot app was absolutely no help.
I’m sure there’s back-end reasons why it’s not possible atm, but from a user/operational perspective there is no reason why Form permissions, revisions, and create/edit history shouldn’t work just like emails/lists/workflows do.
Has anyone developped a work-around for this? e.g. own process of saving old version of forms in documents or on a Wiki - any information management tips welcome, thanks!
This would be great. Running into an issue not seeing past form versions today. I can see who last modified and when, but unsure of what was modified.
Hubspot, please add a Forms Revision History! We need this feature. Just spent hours fixing a form. Would be so so useful to see this implemented.
With all the new features being released on forms, you would expect that this would be one of them.

I can’t beleive this is not somethign that is availble. Just to revert back to a previous version would be good.
And in light of the fact that if a channel is disconnected (to change the connected Inbox) when using ticket properties and automatic ticket creation, then the ticket properties are all lost - forever. Needing to recreate the entire form is an unbelieveable amount of hassle and frustration for external & internal parties.
I’m only grateful I have some documentation, but does not make this any more frustrating.
This thread is 8 years old, and the problem is still pretty much the same. This is actually one of the main reasons I built my own app FormRecall.
It saves a full snapshot of every form every minute and keeps the complete history. So if consent text changes, a checkbox is added or removed, a field changes, or notification settings are updated, you can see exactly what changed and when.
Basically, if someone asks, “What did this form look like on March 3rd?”, you can open that version and see the full form definition from that date.
One limitation I should mention: HubSpot’s API doesn’t tell us who made the change, so FormRecall can show “what” and “when”, but not “who”.
