WHO: This feature would be for markting hub users.
GOAL is to allow for users to see what needs to be edited in emails that are similiar without having to find all of the text that needs to be replaced.
VALUE: This would allow for less mistakes in emails that are repeated often with updated information.
We have a client that needs email templates that are nearly the same but that they can easily update and send. It is for bus route cancelations. The info is not difficult but there are many places where they need to be updated (route day, time, bus numbers, cancelation or delay, etc.). Sometimes these emails happen in the middle of the night or on weekends. So, the emails are updated by whoever is in the office at the time of the update. A clone is an option but it takes a lot of editing. It would be easier for this staff to simply find the placeholder property and fill in the appropriate information.
EXAMPLES: I use placeholder properties in the Sales Hub and it would be nice to have in marketing.
