We need to be able to tag workflows to designate each one as relevant to a specific team, or even a specific need. For example, I’d like to tag some as Internal Notification, and others as Send Email, or tag one as Program since is it relevant to my custom object called Programs, and additionally as Property Management to designate that that workflow updates program property values. I can add the tag property, but I cannot modify them on the workflow view in the current setup. This would make our workflow names much shorter and help us with sorting and filtering based on what is relevant to each team as som workflows can be relevant to more than one team. I’d like to apply multiple tags to each workflow.
Yes!
I have several sets of workflows that depend on each other, but it’s hard to view them all together with the current options (like filtering by type, name, or action). I think it would be great if we could add custom tags to them (like “Quote Approvals,” “Data Standards,” “Inbound Assignment,” etc.). This way, admins can easily find and manage them as a group when needed. This would help us make changes without accidentally causing bugs or errors in new versions.
Basically, Create color-coded object tags but for Workflows
i’ve learned that -- as an interim solution -- one can go into Settings>Data Management>Properties>Workflow Properties and use a custom drop-down select property to ‘tag’ workflows with custom designations
+1 would like to add arbitary tags to workflows to make it easier to categorise them, and validate when changes are made. For example - some level of priority, or criticality to make sure those highest priority workflows continue to work
