Before the latest Hubspot update we used to be able to create a new company then add multiple contacts to that company, but now it only allows us to associate exiting contact or associate new contact for that company.
I am not exactly sure what the issue is. It looks as though you have the ability to associate a contact that exists in your database (normal contact) from your screenshot. The automatic association between company and contact setting doesn’t change this.
If you are using the newer association feature that was released as beta, you will have to add the existing contacts 1 by 1, but you can still associate multiples existing or new contacts to a company.
Hopefully that helps, but I would be happy to hop on a call with you to discuss further if not.
We are newish to Hubspot so populating our database manually / fresh ( not from imports) with customers and prospects clients details.
We were creating new companies then adding new contacts to that newly created company.
Not adding existing or associate contacts to the new company.
This was all working fine until the latest Hubspot update, where it now wants us to either associate an existing contact or associated new to the newly created company.
The option to just create a new normal contact for the newly created company is no longer available.
I have disabled the new feature for both associate contact and company, but we still see the above options when trying to create a normal new customer for a newly created company as we used to before the update.
My marketing team isn’t very technical and struggling to create contacts for new companies they create in Hubspot.
This is seriously delaying our marketing activities, so a call would be most appreciated if you could help us.
