Add Folders and Resizable Name Column to Reports & Dashboards

We need a way to truly organize reports and dashboards at scale. Today, the only real option is tags and basic filters, but that doesn’t solve the core UX problems:

  • The Name field and its column width in the reports/dashboards library are too small to support a robust naming convention.
  • There is no folder structure, so it’s hard to group and browse related reports and dashboards by business unit, team, or purpose.

Our context:

  • We’re on Marketing Hub Enterprise / Content Hub Enterprise with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • We maintain a large number of reports and dashboards across different business lines and use cases.
  • We’ve tried tags and naming conventions, but the name field length + fixed column width make it impossible to create readable, consistent names that users can scan quickly.

What we’re asking for:

  1. Folders for reports and dashboards – the ability to create a folder hierarchy (e.g., by department, team, initiative) and move reports/dashboards into those folders, similar to how workflows or file manager can be organized.
  2. Resizable or wider “Name” column in the reports and dashboards list views, so we can actually see more of the report/dashboard name without severe truncation.

Tags and views are helpful, but they are not a replacement for:

  • Browseable folder structures for power users and admins.
  • Being able to read a meaningful report/dashboard name at a glance.

This is a day‑to‑day usability issue for us, not just a “nice to have”—it directly affects our ability to govern reporting, avoid duplicates, and help non‑admin users find the correct “official” reports and dashboards.

Hey @SFowler3,

Thanks for bringing this to the Community!

I can most definitely see the value in this, however, I wanted to let you know that your post overlaps with an existing feature request that can be found here:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Folders to Organize Reports & Dashboards

To help increase visibility and streamline feedback for our Product Team, we encourage consolidating similar feature requests. I recommend that you add your upvote and any additional use cases/ comments to the existing thread linked above.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!

Hi, Sam!

Thank you - I have upvoted that - but this has been a request since 2019! Any chance this is ever going to come to fruition?

Hey @SFowler3,

I totally hear you, and that’s a fair question! I know it can be frustrating when a feature you’re passionate about has been on the radar for a while without movement. However, your detailed use case is exactly the kind of feedback that helps our Product Team understand the real-world impact. I also see that you already added it to the Idea above, so thank you for taking the time to share it!!

I unfortunately can’t speak to specific timelines, but I want you to know your voice is heard here!

Thank you!

Best,
Sam, Community Manager

Hi @SFowler3, Completely agree, Tags and naming conventions only get you so far when you’re managing reports across multiple teams/business units at scale. A proper folder hierarchy for reports/dashboards (like workflows already have) feels like a pretty basic ask for Enterprise, not a nice-to-have. Upvoting this, hope it gets prioritized.
